Please watch the video and then complete the activities at the bottom of this view. You will find other materials, as well as vocabulary documents where applicable.
For all Boudini & Ses Amis Material, we will only be working with the vocabulary section of the document in this class.
***Any other activities in the Boudini & Ses Amis activity sheet is “Lagniappe.” The document is designed for immersion schools. There are many pages to the document but we will only use the vocabulary pages for this class. Feel free to use the other exercises or ignore them.
Immersion: La Veillee
Review the vocabulary on page 1 of the Exercise sheet at the bottom of this page. Listen for those words in the episode. Hit the cc button for English captions. Feel free to use the other exercises in the document as needed for extra practice if you want. The instructions on the other pages are in French but you can copy and paste them into Google translate if needed and it will come through just fine.
Immersion: Lullabies
Optional exercise: here is a collection of Louisiana lullabies. Listen to these on Spotify before/while you go to sleep. Everyone is different in what they can tolerate at night. However, in our house, these play on loop in the background all night. Your brain processes an incredible amount of information while you fall asleep. If you do not have Spotify, we apologize. I do not have the playlist anywhere else.
