Google Meet Classes Start Soon
Across eight weeks, we’ll work through the language tools that make conversation possible in Louisiana French. By learning how to communicate about the past, present, and future, students will gradually build the confidence and structure needed to participate in real dialogue.

How the Class Works
Classes are held live using Google Meet, a simple video meeting platform that allows everyone in the class to see, hear, and speak with one another in real time. Before each session, you’ll receive a link to join the meeting. At the scheduled class time, simply click the link and you’ll be taken directly into the virtual classroom.
Because this is a conversation-based class, a working camera and microphone are required. Being able to see and hear one another helps create a more natural learning environment and allows everyone to participate fully in the conversation.
No special software is required—Google Meet runs directly in most web browsers and can also be accessed on a phone or tablet if needed.
Three courses will runs for 8 weeks, from March 27 – May 16, 2026.
You may choose from three live class times each week:
Sunday at 4:00 PM
Monday at 12:00 PM
Tuesday at 6:00 PM
Classes are held live using Google Meet.
If you are late or unable to attend a session, a replay of each class will be available, allowing you to review the lesson and stay on track with the course.
